When and where is packet pick up?
Packet pick up will be held on Friday, September 9, from 4:30pm – 7pm on the Wharf at Lord Fletchers. It will also be held on race day, Saturday, September 10, at Bethel Methodist Church beginning at 6am.
Can I register at packet pick up?
Yes you can register on Friday evening or Saturday morning. To avoid standing in a line, especially on Saturday morning, we highly recommend you pre-register at runningofthebays.com
Can someone else pick up my race packet?
Yes, we will have them sign a roster indicating they picked it up for you.
Is the race closed to traffic?
The sections of the race that are along the road are not closed to traffic. But the intersections will have marshalls at them.
Are there restrooms on the course?
Yes, at the Start, and approximately Mile 2.8 and Mile 5.17. Then you turn around at 6.55 and you will have the same restrooms on your return.
Where are the water/energy drink stops?
They are approximately at Mile 1.55, Mile 2.8, Mile 5.17, and Mile 6.3. Once you turn around to head back, they will be available again. If you feel you need more than this, we recommend you carry your own hydration sources.
Can I wear earbuds/play music?
Yes you can, but we do not recommend. For safety purposes, please be aware of your surroundings.
Can I receive a refund or transfer my number if I get injured or cannot attend?
The registration fee is totally non-refundable and we are not able to transfer.
Is there a Gear Drop?
Yes, the Gear Drop is at the Start/Finish location.
Can I run with my stroller and/or dog?
Strollers are allowed but we ask that you go to the back of the line-up. Sorry, for the safety of all runners, dogs are not allowed.
